the last 29 october, my first daughter had seen the light!
she and wife are more than good, and we are dealing with her needs primarly.
Though time is a bit lacking for other things.
I still managed to play, moslty for raid.
now i got 4 lev 80 char,
Chazara - Boomkin/Feral tank, Nireus - DK Tank/Dps, Xuthus Shammy Resto/Ele and lastly Arycles - Pally Holy/Retri.
the things in the guild are super!
we are farming quite everything.
and in two more days, Icecrown Citadel will open :D
lets hope we get the same smooth progression we had up till now :D

Hey hey, dear readers, i'm back...
in the last weeks, i got quite a mess at work, so my updates were far from regular...
I'd played a bit, but a bit less than i used to...and mainly guild runs...but some news are still hot...
1. i started to play again my Enhanch shammy, and am quite 76...with already 2 Tankard's of Terror waiting for me...at 80, as long as some trinkets...(yeah, i'm a lucky guy)...
2. i raided Onyxia v.2, finished Totc 10 (twice) and still not vanquished Egg-nogg-sarogg
3. i started to organize a bit for my former guild, so someone will see finally some Ulduar...
i went yesterday afternoon with Legione del Tuono at Ulduar with a 50% first timers, and we went through first 4, then Kologarn and Auraya, then we "learned" about Hodir...but there are some good premises...
but the most "imba" fact was about tanking with Chazara for a Totc 10, my second time there, first as a tank...and went pretty smooth...
Patch 3.2.2 hit live las wed...so that means that Old Lady had been revamped...
I had a go with the guild, on the late Wed raid...but we were tired and the composition was far from optimal.
(still don't believe at meself when i see a tank going completely wrong about spec and threat gen, and a lock that is clearly not giving any look at threat meter...but bah...)
Ended in most wipes on ph2...never reaced ph3.
Then came yesterday, i texted up in the North of Europe (yah, Holland is north of Europe to me...), so me and Mark start to set up a "pug" out of friends, guildmates and trusted ones...
we gather up quite well, lacking maybe some dps (there were a mate with a still-in-gearing-hunter, but we know that hunter are op)...and we struggled to find 2 healers...
a blast from the past get us a friend from (ex) Remorseless guild, and we get a paladin...
we get in...struggled a lot to "understand" the basics of the fight...
one of the best was..
tank kicks in. and his dedicated healer not. two shot 40k hp...lols
but we managed in the end, with 7 peeps to kill her...and get the nice, imba, uber useless loot (rogue and dk, when in the raid there were none of them lols)...
then we get to OS10, to try with 2drake up...after some 3 or 4 wipes, we get to 1d, and finally after 2 more wipes, we get it done! :D
well...not bad! :D
good news: I GOT GRUNTY from the Blizzcon! whoooooohooooooo...
morale: if raids go bad, if things start to get hard...forget it...and sit down watch the Marine Murloc shooting at anything...lotsa fun!

And then, suddenly the road get even. And a whole new landscape is in front of you.

And to get more fun, think about having done it with lots of laughs, joy, fun and jokes...
but really must tell, that got to Sapphiron with no deaths, was nice.
Starting the Kel'Thuzad fight...without deaths...was starting to increase the stress levels.
Every second of the fight, it was more "tense"...adding in to "tense" for every Frost Tomb, or red things on the floor...
Then all of a sudden (i was off tanking with the druid the two adds...all the fight, so i did not watched the hp % of KT) you see a flash on the screen.

Its monday, dear reader, and with monday comes the report of what had happened on the week end.
For starter, i'll say that this week we (me and wife) didn't played too much.
We've got lots of eating and eating, to celebrate her 25th birthday (for the XXth time, muhahahahahha).
Apart from that, i have only a nice fact to say, here we go:
My friend Rob from Switzerland, dinged 80 with his pally.
Another op tank.

We went in TotC normal to gear him up.
So we basically would like to assemble a farming party.
Another friend joined on his tank (but dual specced fury for the occasion), me on the druid balance, and my wife on the healer.
But counting us, we got to 4...we missed one dps.
After 10 mins of searching, nothing was found.
In the LFG interface there was a deathknight. [that from now on we will call him Z-DK]
I gropued him, and upon grouping, Rob told me that Z-DK, was a ninja, due to some past runs on TotC Normal that Rob went through with his enhanch shammy.
Shivers down my spine.
I dressed up with my best diplomacy suit, and in party chat went like:
"Z-DK, it seems that you have a bad reputation, one of the peeps of this group is telling me that you have ninjaed some trinkets in some other Totc Normal run"
[now, you would expect the classical answer: "No i am not ninja"...]
he replyed simply: "Who?"
Mmmmmmmhhh...this answer stinks of guilty. You ask who, to start flaming in whisper against him.
I went like: "its not important who, its important that the run is smooth, and peeps didn't end up ninjaing gear"
and Z-DK, stayed silent.
i went in RW: Pally Tank, Priest Heals, other DPS
and Z-DK, stayed silent.
and in party chat i added: "i'll go ML, to keep whining level to zero, no ninjaing, no flaming"
and reverted the Loot to ML.
and Z-DK, went: "why ML?"
and i replyed: "for the aforementioned things, tank roll on tank, dps on dps.."
and Z-DK, went: "So i will not get anything!"
and [still wearing the diplomacy suit] i went: "Wrong, you are dps, you roll on dps gear, tank will go on tank gear, and in case tank will not need the gear, you can roll on it for offspec"
and Z-DK, went: "i am tank dualspec"
and [the diplomacy suit was starting to stretch a bit...] i went like: "Cool, you roll on tank gear if ACTUAL TANK didn't need it"
and Z-DK, went silent.

We'd done the jousting. and we went out. To get in, with the 3 minibosses resetted. And Z-DK stayed on the entrance...still.
We'd done the ready check before the fight. And Z-DK didn't answered. I went close to him, and i noticed that he'd gone tanking gear and build.
Ahahahahahhaha, you want to cheat me?
ahahahah, i can play tough.
I told the healer [on the pc next to mine, cause she's my wife] if Z-DK is trying to tank, don't heal him. Our tank is the pally.
We killed the miniboss, with Z-DK really doing crap damage. But lucky for him, he'd never outaggroed the pally.
We sorted the roll, Pally healer stuff, all rolled greed, and by luck only, the pally won the roll with 84.
Started the other event.

killed the bold pally [still laugh my arse off for his voice over, he start boldly, then when you kill him he whimpers "Can i go now?"].
Tank boots and DPS Chest dropped.
I called for tank roll on the boots.
And our ACTUAL TANK was needing them. So i passed to him.
Then i called for DPS roll on chest.
Fury warrior rolled, and Z-DK went "bb"...and left the party.
We all aggreed on the fact that he's a tard.
And we finished ToTC normal in 4.

Today i'll briefly focus on the nice and joyful review of what happened yesterday, between 17.30 and 18.48...
After having done the daily TotC HC (for the caster back, that now refuses to drop...)...i followed a guildy to a pug for Naxx25.
And the results, well, read it on, and you'll enjoy.
its a good laugh.
i was invited. and upon invite, i watched that we were 10, and with 15 spots to cover...i would have been a looooong wait.
Then the "raidleader" started to ask if 2 tanks were enough.
And that, was a statement that sounded like "i'd never got into naxx25, lemme organize that i want loot"...
But, lets go on.
After 15 mins, i were the 3rd in reacing the entrance of the floating ziqqurat, we got 18 peeps. Full on tanks, and as always looking for healers
we got 4 already, but no priest. The drama of the missing priest.
All "pros" players started to rant about "no priest we can't do military"...we need shadowpriest to do the military...
And i was already starting to laugh...and went like "well, we can do Arachnid and Plague, without priest, but grabbing 2 more healers, random..then we see if we are able to go military..."
But no answer.
After another 15 mins, we were all inside Naxx, 23 man, with 5 healers. No priest. And peeps starting to get nervous.
We started to buff up. And a sentence was the harbringer of doom: "healers assign yourself".
Then the tank charged in.
First thrash mobs, small spiders that roams the first room. Aoe'd down. But the smart ass went walking backwards and aggroed the big spider group on the right of the entrance...and we aoe'd them down. No casualties. It was the beginning of the end.
Rogues with the fan of knives, started to spam the raid channel with recounts.
Peeps that started to say, there are some under 2.5k dps, kick them.
Some guy, obviously under 2.5k dps with a death knight dps specced answered one of the best sentences ever heard:
THE MOB MOVES, can't run after it.
Then other big spider packs.
Tank charged in.
Dpsers started to Aoe them 1 second after the tank was in.
Lots of dead.
And peeps screaming: "WTF HEALERS, WTF HEAL ME?"
And one healer got kicked. By someone.
Then another healer started to spam the "healing meter" and saying am i healing alone?

I was already thinking of quitting this "joyful crew"...but still i went on.
Big pack before first boss room.
The tank charged in, without seeing that most peeps were drinking or recovering after a ress.
At that point.
Enough is enough.
I left the raid.
Just in time to hear the emote from the boss.
Some really cool, smart and imba went in and aggroed it.
Heartstone was alread at middle of her castbar...
Suddenly i was in Dalaran.
morale: facepalm. you can always find a bad pug. then a worst one. and worst one, and worst one... the joy of pug raiding.
After some days of more than usual casual playing (just some dailies done, some hcs) yesterday we had planned a raid to Ulduar.
The premises where not the best, cause only 5 signed on the raidplanner...but, after having done some hcs, with Nireus and Chazara, i moved myself to the stone of Storm Peaks.
Sadly, we called the raid, 6/10 were there, and no way we would have pugged the other 4.
So we decided to move to VoA 10, and after 2 wipes due the tanks mistakes (if you stay inside the fire patch at Kologarn, its really hard to heal...), we killed the big hot fat boss...and moved (without any further probs) to Emalon and Archavon.
Then i took a break for dinner.
After some 1.5 hours, i was online again...and the guild was not organizing anything in particular, i decided to join a party of my former guilders to some hcs.
Daily first. It was Old Kingdom (and 2 secs after been grouped, i was already regretting myself...for the reason that you are goign to read).
We went in, and the 3rd group was a wipe. The tank didn't remembered that there was a patrol. So aggroed 7 mobs...we tryed our best...but nontheless we died. Went in again, and resetted the Recount.

apart struggling at the bosses...i got the following recount:

We came up to the Prince Boss...and after having vanquished it, the Hit Rating Necklace dropped.
The mage went like, ohhh, Hit Rating and Spellpower, i think i'll need. I say, smooth is good if you have Hit Rating not capped...
and then the "revelation"
he went like, ah, but Hit Rating is not more needed. I got 170 and its enough. My left eyebrow went up like a rocket in the sky.
and replyed "not to my account, cause i had been searching around pages, forums, and the like, and Hit Rating for the spellcasters is the first one to be capped, around 283..."
- silence -
then, he went like "no no, with last patch they changed, now you don't need to cap it..."
suddenly, the storm clouds of rage appeared in the empty space that is my brain...and was like to reply, a bit harsher...but i restrained...and went like "oooh, smooth, nice, fine by me, so time to discard all my gear, and forgot about hit rating...good good, pls lets go on, don't waste time"
then, i took a glympse at recount.
and was like the following:
Druid (me) 2.5k dps - 2.2million dmg
Mage 1.7k dps - 1.2 million dmg
Tank 1.0k dps - 1.1 millin dmg
Spriest 1.1k dps - 900k dmg
we went to Herald Vol-something...and i nuked out my "shadows" in 6 seconds. and then i died...the spriest shadows, all of them still alive, appeared and nuked me...i took 2 with me...but the others...killed me...
then i realized that the Spriest died without killing any...and the mage was struggling to kill them (while the healer - sitting on the pc next to mine, so i can assure that i checked...managed to kill her ones...)...
then after 2 insanity and some problems..."we" managed to kill the boss...
i thanked for the ress. and took my leave. after saying to my former guildmaster - the tank - that i'll never group up with two useless, crappyer and really unbelieavable toons like THAT spriest and THAT mage.
morale: Why don't you understand that you should play another game? Monopoly? Risk? Trivial Pursuit?

It come crashing into my mind yesterday... i was tanking Nexus hc for a friend (who needed 4 moar badges for the head...), i was tanking with my druid (on secondary spec)...although i had already tanked TotC HC, last week (but i was too focused to think something else then to keep aggro and stay sharp), i was saying, it abruptly come to mind that i had tanked with ALL of the possible classes that can tank!!!!!whoa!Gratz to me (i hear the voice from the other peeps saying: "mmmm...nice, whoa, sup and now go and get a life..."), but so far in TBC i tanked hcs with Warrior and Paladin...and now in WotLK with the DK and the Druid...muahahahahahahhaahhaha/flex

i got the time for Arachnid quarter only, but i went in...

my last rogue, touched lvl 14 before being deleted. But she was a Blood Elf, and am not too fond of them.
The choice went to orc, to honour the most famous half-orc rogue of teh Warcraft Lore, yes, Garona indeed!
With some difficulties, we were 3 man down, but we managed to get friends and relatives..ahahah...we entered Ulduar 10. A new fresh run... I would have entered it with my Boomkin, but the Raid was needing some healer...so i gladly joined on Arycles... Apart a not really nice behaviour of a member that joined us, but after 10 mins was not there...when we pulled the thrash before Flame Leviathan...he said "i See that you have already begin, so you'll not need me..."...we grabbed one of the guild leaders and we went on...Flame Leviathan was nine manned easyly with 1 tower up.Then we 10 manned, and moved up to Razorscale... but something was odd. My mana bar was under 20k...and i checked twice the gear if it was all into position...and it was...i thought bah, maybe with the maintenance they have done some adjustement...who knows...(i found out that they added the Flame Keeper in VoA...whoo...free loot...)...well...the tank pulled...i was main healing on tank n.1, and was thinking of Beacon of Light tank n.2, i found out that i didn't have Beacon of Light...god...while keeping up the tank quite easyly...i opened the spellbook...and nowhere to be seen...then......i realized...mana under 20k, no beacon of light...slightly lower crits on Holy Light...i started to laugh...mic was off... :D well, then i honestly admitted to the raid...in Ventrilo SORRY GUYS, AM HEALING IN RETRI... whoa! but, we managed it quite fine doing also http://www.wowhead.com/?achievement=2919the raid went smooth, we got quite all cleaned up to Freya...:Dahahahahahhahaam strong!am imba!am stupid?or maybe a nice mix of all of them?

Logged really late yesterday evening, then i went in ToTC normal for some farming runs for two friends of mine, a Shammy LVL 78 (maybe today is 80) and a Balance druid with lots of things to learn and get...but the other 3 party members were quite epix so everything went smooth.
Then the drama.
't was around 00.25 when i started to make a group to totc hc.
i was going to tank with the DK, my wife was dps with her DK, got a Ele shammy (LIGHTNING LIGHTNING LIGHTING), and a hunter from guild...then we entered that jungle that is LFG.
there was a Druid, LFG as Healer! Whoa! Smooth! HoT and Lifebloom! the whisper lead to invite.
We entered, and agreed on the exiting after dismount.
We got a really crappy group... Shaman, Rogue and Hunter.
We got them down quite smooth, with some occasional death of my wife DK.
Then the drama part two.
We got Palatress...
her shadow's fear that deal tons of dmg to everyone...is a pain...and we came to know fast...
two wipes there, until i asked the shammy to insert some healing and chain healing the LIGHTNING LIGHTNING LIGHTNING CHAIN LIGHTNING LIGHTNING rotation...
then we got to the Black Knight...
The the drama part three.
phase one smooth as butter...
phase two...first time wipe, due very very very very very very scarce healing...secont attempt, wipe due to very very very very very very very scarce healing (no lifebloom, no HoT, i was starting to get high level of anger raising up)...
then we got to phase three...wipe due to peeps not getting healed... even with the shammy with some healing duty...
then at the 4th wipe at the Black Knight... we got the WARNING 7 MINUTES TO SERVER SHUTDOWN...
GOD, how i wish it was WARNING NUCLEAR LAUNCH DETECTED...with the much awe'd red dot on the druid forehead!

I played a bit yesterday, some hcs, TotC Hc, the daily...quite easy.
Then i realized i got with Chazara (Tauren Druid) quite a good set for tanking as well.
So i decided to buy some gear with the Conquest's badge.
And found out that i was missing 3 badges for the tanking neck.
...but at that time i realized that got some friends coming to us for some chat and games...
and logged off.
But you know that am stubborn, and when they went away, around 23.40, i decided to log in again just to get the 3 badges.
Swapped to Feral, and tanked a fast VH Hc.
So i got my neck.
But was around 00.45 quite ready to go bed...when a former guildy asked if i would have joined them for a late Hc.
Why not? We went to Utgarde Pinnacle...
Around half of the run, my attention and focus started to fade...if not sleep took over in some moments...
And after a bit that i was first in dmg and dps...i found myself last, just ahead of the tank...
I was a bit angry to see that i was unable to cast spell, what the heck! what was happening... did the mob always spell locked me?
well, ehrm, not really...
it was because...
(pause of shame and n00bness)
i tryied to cast the entire rotation on the tank...not the mob...and it was about 2 mins that i was doing that...
motto: if you fail, you got always some kind of reason, and mostly are your own errors
Finally, after some trouble with the connection, that apart during a storm this saturday, seemed quite stable, i went into Ulduar 10.
I had some fight there, while being in my old guild, with the Antechamber first...but never get past XT002.
Yesterday evening, i was signed with Chazara, but the raid was lacking some healing, so i grabbed Arycles...and went on healing.
It was quite a bit since my last healing in Raid...and i had to remove some dust from the shoulders.
Raid started 19.15.
Thorim was a walk in the park. Somewhat puzzled by the easyness of the encounter. Maybe also 'cause the lowest dps was around 3.4k... Lulz...
we struggled a bit on Freya, but not the bosses...the pulls...if you are not really used to the fight...the chamber of Freya is really full of mobs...with a wide aggro area...
Once we got the mobs out...Freya was a One Shot.
Then we moved to Mimiron...
What the hell, my best inside there...i love the 4 phases...the voice over...the music!
We struggled a bit always arriving to a close call but resulting in a wipe.
Then we focused a bit, and Mimiron was "disassemble" without any casualty.
Smooth.
Then onward to Vezax...mr. no-mana-guy...
first three attempts were not so good, then we changed the setup of the raid (god bless dual spec)...and we killed it, without any major issues.
Must admit that the no-mana rec is quite exciting...and you have to be quite conservative and able to get the maximum from the Saronite Vapors, without being too mana-greed...and therefore die of the debuffs...
We went then to Egg-nogg Sarogg...and first timers there, we get to P2...well, bit messy...but nonetheless fun.
Progression, thats the key word, wiping is quite fun if you make that help in the following try...and for high repair bills..there are the daily quest for that! :D

Hello, there we are with another nice fact direclty from the adventure of Nireus, orc Death Knight on Earthen Ring...
i went home from work, with a 45 mins time before going out again, i decided to log in to assemble a group for Trial of the Champion Hc (for my daily "quest" to have the chance to drop Aledar's Battlestar, its a 20 mins run, so should be doable...with the time i got.
From the guild i get a Elemental shammy and a Death Knight...then to speed up the process, and being my dk in Dalaran, i went through the usual but not really correct /2 [Trade] LF healer and tank to TotC HC...as usual being submerged by whisper for dps...and in 1min i got two druid, tank and healer...
Good, flying on my way to the Argent Ground, i took a glympse of the hp from the tank and stating 22.1k in tauren form, i was a bit doubious about the effectiveness and the resistance of the tank, but decided to not sound teachy...and go on...
We agreed on running out after we had the bosses dismount.
Event started and to our very unluck, we got Shammy, Rogue and Mage...but we get along...
1st attempt: Druid charged in, dps went to skull (shammy due to healing), we died in 5 second from each other due to scarce healing...and overaggroing of the target...
2nd attempt: tank asked dps to behold a bit, and let him aggro the targets... we died after 45 seconds of combat due to the fact that the healer outaggroed the tank trying to keep him alive...
3rd attempt: the tank asked everyone to beholde like 5 seconds of any action to ensure him a decent aggro pull, the healer made him notice that without healing, for 5 secs, would results in clear death...but the tank said (with a bit of pride) got talents for regenerate and like (frenzied regeneration, survival instincts and the like...)...charged in...lasted 4.5 seconds...
we call the run...
But thats not the only nice thing that happened yesterday...
Later in the evening, me and my wife logged again...(i still needed to run the daily TotC HC for the above mentioned mace farm)...and a close friend of mine was there to wait for us...he's got a imba tank...so...we grabbed my wife as healer and got 2 more dps...1 elemental shammy and 1 survival hunter...(i will not say names to keep away from being offensive..)...
we agreed on exiting upon have the boss dismounted...
we got in, i inspected the shammy and was medium geard but being the ele shammy a 1-key-only class (lighthing)...was not much of issue...and the hunter was near all epix...with some good pieces also...so i thought...will be a walk in the park...
we get to dps the 1st wave of bosses...and i noticed that the hunter was like 1k dps...and seemed strange...at the end of the bosses...he went like..."Doh' i kept Aspect of the Viper up all the time...!" but we got them down quite easyly...and i finally got the Aledar's...(so now only one more to farm!!!!)...
then we decided to go Old Kingdom...to do the daily...Mark, my friend went to bed, and we got another close friend of mine (with a imba pally, nowadays any pally tank is imba tbh...but he's also good at playing it)...and the shammy we got said, i got dual spec, can try to heal...
my wife was joinin' with her DK, i was swapping to the Boomkin..so...we went on...
well cut the story short, i never saw a shammy healing without totems out...no earthshield on the tank...(lucky nough our tank was 33k hp unbuffed)...and at the Blood elf vampyr prince...i said before the pull, please <nameoftheshamanhere> start with Blood Lust...no answer, and i took as a yes...
we pulled, but no BL coming...i swapped a bit to healing...cause the amount healed was not 'nough to keep us alive...no chain healing...just lesser healing wave (that has a bad hp healed / mana spent ratio)...but we managed...
we went to last boss, i told him again, clearly, please start with blood lust...and this time i got a answer:
"I AM RESTO, AM HEALING"...
i went quiet up to the end of the fight...but before the tard went away i told:

after 3 months stop, i was again raiding, with my boomkin druid (Chazara),
We entered the gate of Ulduar.
We jumped into the vehicles.
We destroyed the iron dwarves, the mechanical spiders, three out of four towers to engage Flame Leviathan in hard mode +1.
Then my connection went yo yo.
Then my connection stopped.
Then my connection was up again...
And by the time, i downed Razorscale without any major probs.
Then my connection went yo yo.
Then up again.
And we were on the road to Ignis the Furnace Maker.
And then the conns went down again.
My blood pressure rised up as a frenzied bear after being shot.
So in the 45 seconds that my conn was up again, i apologized to the raid.
And i left.
Just in time to see my connection going down for quite an hour.
...
Flames of anger filled me.
I turned off the pc. And went to do something else...
That was my Raid comeback.
The guys in Minion (minion.mmoguildsites.com) went thorugh the bosses with ease... greet them! Hope i'll be joining for Sunday continuation!
Well, well, well...
after some month of break from WoW (the new patch 3.2 obliteraded a bit my gaming will)...i start up playin again, leveling a new char...a druid...
i was guildless, and leveled quite steady paced (9d 12hr 55mins 50secs to go from 1 to 80)...
But then...i was in front of a choice...start farming hcs again...to gear up...or make a fast base gear and start to look for a raidforce?
Farming hcs is fine, Conquest badges let you buy nice gear...but became boring quite fast...so...lets look for a raidforce...
and after having played along with Athom (a imba shadow priest...GM of a RF guild) in heroics with both my other chars...i decided to apply...
with all of my chars (Arycles holy/retri pally - Nireus frost dps dw/frost tank DK - Chazara balance/feral Druid)...
and...i had been accepted on trial...

whooooopieeeee...raiding is somenthing i really like, endgame in WoW...
